  6. What the heck is going on with art packages on the
  7. Archimedies !!?? Most of these programs are more of a
  8. hinderance than a help to gfx artists. This is mainly due
  9. to the un-user frindly interfaces used. A good exeample of
  10. this is Pro Artisan . This really annoys me for many
  11. reasons, these include difficult menu controls ( when the
  12. pointer moves away from a menu (it disapears)) having to
  13. go into sub menus just to select a colour, instead of
  14. having a palette at the side of the screen where selection
  15. is easy and un-time consuming.

  17.   Other not so annoying features include solid fill shapes
  18. ,the usual brushes and an array of interesting effects E.g
  19. light sourced objects. Judging by the demonstration
  20. pictures exellent results can be accomplished but you must
  21. be prepaired to waste a great deal of time with the fiddly
  22. methods used.
